ProjectWise Explorer

Simplified version of ProjectWise Explorer which allows to keep files on external datasource, share them with other users and maintain versioning. The dialog is divided into 2 windows. Left window displays content of selected folder of datasource, the right window displays content of your local hard-drive.

Setting	Description
Datasource	opens a dialog which allows to select active datasource
Address	address on server (including datasource), down-arrow will invoke folder selection dialog .. - go up in a folder tree
Filter	which types of documents to show in listing
Listing	Status - Directory, Checked In, Checked Out, Read-only (also checked-in), Final, Exported, Shared User - current user of file Name - document name Double-click (or info icon) will show various information about document (description could be changed here). Right-click opens popup menu with other options which documents to display
New folder	create new directory on server
New version	open dialog for maintaining versions of files (use it only on the latest version of document
Check out	check out file to your local folder as specified in the right window (Right arrow between windows also works as check out.)
Copy out	copy out file to your local folder as specified in the right window
Free	free checked-out file without changing its content
Delete	delete file on server
Local path	address on your hard-drive, down arrow will invoke folder selection dialog
Filter	which types of documents to show in listing
Listing	File name - name of file Double-click (or info icon) will show various informations about document.
Check in	check in file to server, or create a new file on server when file doesn't exist there (Left arrow between windows also works as check in.)
Delete	delete file
